It may surprise students of wine to discover that it's actually the scent of wine, not the palate, that delivers the most flavor clues.  This class will focus entirely on "the nose" of wine, and we'll employ the "Le Nez du Vin" aroma kit, which features the 54 aromas most likely found in wine.

Spanish wine is white hot right now, and increasingly chefs and foodies alike are looking to Spain for its fabulous region cheese selections.  In this one we'll marry the two, pairing the Spanish grapes you should know with their regional cheese match made in heaven.  Not to be missed!

Wine "Down Under!" The Wines of the Southern Hemisphere   $50

The price-to-value ratio on new world wines from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina are making old world wine making purveyors shake in their wine-stained boots!  We'll sample the salient wines from "down under," and  get you up to snuff on wine trends south of the equator.

He's baack!  Join Robert Houde, former Charlie Trotter's Sommelier and current proprietor of Robert Houde Selections as he takes us through a viticultural tour of The Boot!  Robert will take us north to south, tasting through famous regions such as Tuscany, Piedmont, and Montepulciano.  If you haven't taken Robert's Master Spain class, or even if you have, here's your chance to listen in on this Master's take on one of the world's foremost wine treasures: Italy.
