Team Centered Testimonials I can speak for the entire group when I tell you that we had a great time yesterday. I received nothing but glowing praise for your staff- each chef had so many helpful tips and made the experience a lot of fun. I think having the ability to move from station to station and either watch or participate made everyone in the group happy. And there were rave reviews for the food, and I doubt it was only because my coworkers helped to prepare it! Last evening's event was overwhelming success!!!! It was unanimous. At least a dozen participants said it was the BEST team-building activity they've participated in over the course of their entire corporate careers. Our chef instructors were fabulous - so patient and knowledgeable. Everyone felt like they learned something new and loved how their teams came together and got totally competitive with the other teams. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive - we all had a great time, and a great meal. The prime objective of the evening was the bonding experience for the group to work together in a fun and relaxed environment, learn something new, break down barriers and develop personal connections. We achieved that more than 100%! One of the attendees is a recent hire, and he told me it would have taken him a year or more to get the same interaction with the group then he had that one evening. Thanks to you and the terrific staff at The Chopping Block. Our group thoroughly enjoyed their cooking experience -- it was a tremendous team-building activity and a lot of fun. We even converted our one naysayer! I thought the team building exercise was great. It was a way to get us all to work together without being in business mode. We learned about each other's cooking skills or lack of cooking skills. I really appreciate the opportunity we had to share time together in a "fun" mode and the food was fantastic! Thank you, we all had a wonderful time. This was by far the best team building event that we have participated in! The feedback that I've received was OUTSTANDING! Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the food. I didn't realize a couple of our executive's like to cook and are very competitive (learn something new every day). We all loved the experience. The meeting room was perfect-everyone said they felt like they were in a cooking show audience. And the space was just perfect. As for the cooking class itself, that was fantastic. We have a very competitive group so the Iron Chef competition was perfect for us. I'm still amazed at how well everything turned out. And I must say, that out of all of the team builds I've planned so far, I've never gotten so many thank you's from the team. Everyone had such a great time. I think it is fair to say that everyone had a blast. The emails circulating the next day amongst our group were all very positive. Also, just FYI, not many of us knew each other that well, and it was a great event for us to bond, and I think really made us a lot closer-knit group. Click here to get your team cooking. |

What a great experience it was, and by far the most enjoyable team-building event we've done since I've been with the company. Even the execs whom I thought might be put off by having to cook their own dinners were laughing and having a blast throughout the entire evening.
